What a Difference a Day Makes

Mom in the cool skirtLast night I had a dream that I took a plane to New Zealand, stopped by an apartment and found my mother,  who passed away last May, happily dancing in a fake fur stole, a tulip skirt and kitten heel shoes.  She was still an older woman but she was smiling and wiggling–in silence.  I asked a stranger who was nearby if there was any music.  He said, they had none up there.  So, I took out my iphone and put on “What a Difference a Day Makes” by Dinah Washington because I knew that my mother loved her.  As I reflect on the dream, it’s nice to know that my purpose at that moment was to bring the music.

Check out:  “What a Difference a Day Makes” sung by a woman who has a voice like no other, the late Dinah Washington.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmBxVfQTuvI
